Campaign Story
Hi! Thank you for helping us reach our goal of starting a family.
We have been married for 12 years and about two years ago started to try for a baby. We truly never thought or could have imagined that when the time came for us to have a baby we would have fertility issues. But after years of trying and struggling, it was just not happening. After spending thousands of dollars and countless hours of testing, labs, doctors appointments, etc., we have been told that our next step is IVF.
While we have insurance, we have no coverage for fertility treatment and when you add in the diagnosis of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) – we need help trying to start our family. It has been a lot of tears and prayers, but we are trying to stay positive and faithful in the face of the monster that is infertility. We are looking for help funding IVF treatment which is necessary given our age and PCOS diagnosis.
We know times are really tough for everyone. Any amount you can give is helpful and no gift is too small to make a difference in reaching our dream of having a baby.
Thank you for taking the time to read about our story and please pray for us on this journey!

August update
Just wanted to update everyone of the process and setbacks.
We did our first transfer in June. That transfer failed and we do not know why.
We went in for some pretty painful tests and biopsies which were normal. We changed up the protocol with some differing medications and did the second transfer in July. That transfer failed and again there is no reason why it failed.
I just had a hysteroscopy surgery yesterday which should give us more information once all the labs come back. The doctor is having us do a mock cycle for September. It is basically a practice cycle with all the same meds and injections. On the day when a transfer normally happens – instead you do a special biopsy called an ERA. Downside is we will be on another injection daily for 60days – Lupron. This injection is not covered by insurance and neither is the entirety of the mock cycle.
After the mock cycle, we repeat everything we did and then this time try another transfer. That is covered by what we already paid! Thank goodness!! So it looks like our next transfer is toward the very end of October 2024. Please please please pray this works. I do not know how much more bad news we can take.
This was definitely not the way we saw this going but we are trying so hard to stay hopeful. It just shouldn’t be so hard!
